Irish act Sunken Foal consists of one Duncan Murphy and his sometime friends and collaborators. Fermented Condiments is the debut e.p. of immaculately constructed electronic rhythms with piano, guitar and occasional vocals which build up and then collapse under the weight of digital diaspora. These four string-led electronic pieces have a definite ‘plucked’ feel with the detuning adding a slight unsettling feeling, as played on Mary Anne Hobbs Radio 1 experimental show.
