After his debut E.P. “You’re A Nice Girl” (included here in it’s entirety on the digital format), and his appearance on the ‘Sacred Symbols Of Mu’ compilation, Canada’s Last Step unleases his debut album called simply ‘Last Step’. These tracks are all created using original analogue equipment like the Roland 303, 606, 707 and Jupiter etc. I do not no much about last step as he only communicates with me anonymously and via vocoder. He’s listed his influences as The Carpenters, Giorgio Moroder, Drexciya, Phuture, Depeche Mode, Luke Vibert, Mozart, Jean Michel Jarre, Roland, The Human League, DMX Krew, Throbbing Gristle, Vav Jungle, Jeff Mills, Simon and Simon, 808 State & Glass Tiger.
