PLANET MU PRIVACY POLICY:

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit from planet.mu ( the “Site”), and also what we collect on our mailing list when you subscribe to it.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain anonymous information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We may also aggregate your usage Data to calculate information such as the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature or page. However, if we combine or connect aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.

Other types of information we hold are Marketing Data – so when you have consented to join our Email list, we collect a mixture of device information (when you use our mailouts) and personal information when you sign up (your name and email address). We use a trusted, GDPR compliant mailing list provider.

Finally for the sake of clarity we collect communications data, which is any communication with us via email regarding a website order or other matter related to our business.

You always have to consent to our mailing lists by subscribing. (When you receive our mail outs, there is always a link to unsubscribe immediately on the footer of the email, and a double opt in.)

Third party social media plugins such as Facebook and Twitter to connect you with your social network and which can be disabled by adjusting your privacy settings on the relevant social media site.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

Also, we are a 100% independent company and we never share any lists or information with any outside companies, or anyone who has no part in consenting to these legitimate business interests.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your email address, first and last name if you subscribe to our mailing list, but we delete personal information if you unsubscribe on a regular basis.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

GDPR CONSENT

We comply with the GDPR and any data held by us is held on the following basis provided in the GDP: Consent, Contract, Legal Obligation, Vital interests, Public task or legitimate interest and is only such data ; typically name, email, phone number and address.
